This painting powerfully depicts the divine connection of three women coming together in unified prayer. Each woman is portrayed deeply engaged in prayer, their postures reflecting humility and reverence. As they pray together, a radiant fusion of light begins to form around them, a symbolic representation of their collective prayers ascending into heaven, piercing through the darkness that surrounds them. The light takes on a dynamic form, rising like incense, breaking through the hard, concrete ceiling of a rural environment. Yet, their prayer enforces a divine opening, revealing a chalice cup symbolising their prayers being received in heaven, a sacred vessel that gathers their deepest desires and petitions. Surrounding the women is a warm, radiant glow, a representation of divine glory.
